Oct. 14 It has been a busy week, I have 2 machinces down- one in the shop and the other(the new one) waiting for a home visit- will set that up tomorrow. I hate to spend the $- but what good are these machines if they can’t ease my workload? With the blindsticher down, I have to do all hems by hand- a lot of work- but at least it’s going out the door- and did our biggest week last week. I get tired- but what else is new? Frank got our airtight woodstove installed this week- we’ve tried it a few of these chilly eves. No smoke leakage- and it warms things up right rickey- tick! With a small usage of wood. So I guess it was a good investment on this winter- warmer and safer! WE treated ourselves to a dinner out on Thursday- first time in MANY months! But the restaurant we went to- Macaroni’s Grill was contributing 100% of profits to the WTC fund- so we felt it was a good reason to go spoil ourselves and go out to a real dinner. The food and all were wonderful- and it felt great to be out!!! Too much work piled up for this week- so have to hit the tub and bed- |
