Nov 15, 01 Chris just told us that Kayla is reading now- she read to him last night, I have watched her sound out and read words in her computer games she plays here. At 5 yrs that’s pretty good. And Nicci told me this past week that Daria is reading Harry Potter- for a 6 yr. old to be reading on an 11 yr. old level is great! Nobody could tell that I am a Proud G-ma could they?!! But considering all the girls have been exposed to reading since day 1, it’s to be expected! So far so good- on the total quitting of the tobacco. There have been a couple times I wanted to light up- But went and got a pretzel instead! Besides I’m not about to drive the 10 miles to go buy one. The hardest time is right now,at the end of a workday- I want to sit down, have a glass of wine and a cig. So I have the sitdown and wine, and some pretzels or cheese and crackers. I had a REAL good sweat/flush going this morn... So I know the toxins are flushing . |
