Nov. 8 Just working to pay for living. Then I get a bill in the mail from the Pathologist that the Nevada Woman’s Health said they would pay, and the American Cancer Society, both have blown off. If I had known ...I wouldn’t have bothered. I bothered because I wanted to prove that alternative methods work! It wasn’t a pleasant experience and I will not do it again...it has taken several months to heal from that experience. Oh well, time to start calling around- or the lab is going to have to take $5.00 mo payments. You know- they encourage us to keep up on the exams- and they offer help, but if you don’t have insurance... such is life. The lump seems to be no bigger(actually, smaller), and I am getting real familiar with that boobie. I really feel that Juanita’s cure of massaging and extracting is a worthwhile thing!!! We have to encourage our bodies to heal- and to stimulate the glands. Sounds logical to me!! We can’t expect the herbs and/or medicines to do it all without help from us - with concern for our bodies! Kinda like when we held our babies when they were ill- the medicine was there- but our touch and loving was too! And who knows which part of that healing was most important? I have my thoughts on that! Anyway, time to go to the tub and have the cat talking to me - she is a Very demonstrative critter!..... I hope she decides to “mouse “ soon, but I am giving her some “downtime” to heal from the “litter” and her spaying, and new home. All have put alot of stress on her- so she eats alot, drinks tons, and I am getting tired of a FULL litter box in the AM. But she needs time- and I don’t begrudge her that! I hope our hot water heater gets here soon- as the wet floor from the leaky old one is getting REAL old. Have joined the Phenomenal Women Quilt, (I don’t qualify for a full membership as I don’t maintain this site by myself! That’s ok. Because Frank adds SO much to it with his artistic ways. ) and have already met a couple of Great Ladies!! Kelly K. has sent some poetry- which Frank posted today to our Arts Forum! I am SO glad there is a connection for all of us- sometimes , with our lives being so busy, we tend to draw into ourselves , and forget we are NOT alone!And being part of the “quilt”, or just anyone - can go there and draw on successful fights of others. It does bother me that no others are taking the alternative route- but one must choose their own route.But it makes me sad that so few are aware that there are other methods ,than what the AMA offers. Maybe if enough folks read this, they will send the word and become aware! |
