Nov. 5 It has been a GLORIOUS Indian Summer past couple of days.. unfortunately- with the new critter not being familiar with her surroundings yet- we can’t open the garage door...Sigh! But it’s been in the 70’s with glorious sun-nights are cool at 30-40’s. But the temps are to drop into low 60’s this week- oh well, what to expect for November? We have been blesssed with such wonderful weather- even though we need some precip. But such is the way it goes on the desert. We went across the road yesterday afternoon to enjoy a BBQ with De-De and Rob and Katie, and their friends Barry and Gracie! It was a good afternoon, such pleasant, loving people to be around. Poor guys work grave, so visiting with other folks is hard for them to do. But bless her heart- DeDe made potato salad-fantastic, pasta salad- more fantastic and fabulous chicken, pork and steaks!! And Katie made some scrumpulous pumpkin/walnut/choco chip bread!!! Good stuff- even though a bit unconventional with the chocochips. But I’m not complaining!!! |
