Nov. 3-01 It has been a hectic couple of weeks- busy with business and as with everyone- just life in general. I have some new help while I’m trying to do this- but she hasn’t learned to spell so good yet... We went today and after a trip to the pound, then the humane Society, the the SPCA we finally found “Princess” cat. She’s a Tortoise- but much bigger already than Fuzzbucket was- and now spayed - but still has trails of a litter. Most “Tortis” are not ‘loveys” but so far she is... and she is getting into her environment of my shop and the “family “ room just fine- with lots of leaps to me for huggies. She and dogs are working it out- I really didn’t expect too much of a problem there- just takes a few days- We enjoyed a good dinner tonight with Jason and his Mom-June and “folks” Lars and Susan tonight. I have never met Susan, before tonight- but I enjoy June and Lars is always gracious- and enjoyable- And we all love the same great guy-our son Jay-so I thank them for a great eve. I need to hit tubby- have spent too many hours and energy on trying to get the last parts of the garage/family room/shop done lately. Another reason for the cat-.... mice! And cleaning from same. Finally got my sewing machines and hemmer working ok and now the water heater in the trailer blew- !!! If it’s not one thing it’s another! Luckily it’s not too pricey Frank found a place to order it on the net- But since it’s over 20 years old- it’s to be expected- just the fact that it’s leaking and the floor is wet until we put new one in. But the BEAUTIFUL news....My Christmas Cactus that bloomed so much last year...and I feel G-ma in, is Blooming again!!!With multiple blooms!! I just feel her love and her!! and every morn when I see it - any aches go away- silly , eh? And My underarms lyphms have really settled down- for this week at least... and a week is a good thing- one tends to forget what’s going on unless someone asks”how ya feeling”.... or you hurt... |
