March 29 2003 I have not written due to a lot of reasons. First I have been very busy- second as with all around- I did not want to approach our existing world situation. I have basically stated my position before...I Fully support our young men being in a situation they did not ask for and are (again) giving their lives for ...the Barnyard Bullies. Just as for so many years (thousands) politics, religion and money waste so many lives. I guess I would feel better about the whole thing if for once, some of the causers of war and death were out on the front lines. But that will never happen- as long as they have our childen and spouses to do their dirty work for them. Ok- Health. I have not had what I feel is my full energy level for several months. I know that is for a few reasons. One is that I do not eat enough. I eat properly when I eat, but mostly don’t have the urge to eat or the time. I was taking some phytonutritionals in the beginning - but cut them out last year. Mostly due to $. I feel they were good products- but they were just too damn expensive. I have kept up on all the cancer fighting products- but stopped the “health” products. I have found a fairly inexpensive phytonutritional(condensed veggies) that I have started this week. We’ll see if it helps my energy level. They may not be as “pure” as what I was taking- but hopefully will fill the bill. It’s funny- I love to cook- and am good at it... but by the time I have assembled and cooked a meal- my offactory senses have satisfied me and I really don’t care to eat. Plus a few other reasons. Fun stuff- I have 2 1/2 dresses for the wedding done - 1 1/2 to finish- then on to my garb. After I finish fixing a wedding gown for a customer and making Kayla’s “Lilo” dress for Easter. Have finished Daria’s and Lea’s dresses- will mail them this week. Then finish the wedding present and I’ll be cruising. Hopefully there will be enough regular work to keep me busy also. It has dropped dramatically this past week. Delivering the dresses to Fla. for the wedding may be a bit iffy otherwise. But all should work out- somehow it usually does. BUT- I am taking a day away from the machines tomorrow! It is supposed to be in the 70’s- and I am going to play in the dirt. I need to rake the yard (1/2 acre) of doggy land mines- and I want to get some ground tilled and lettuce and herbs planted. Some in pots- some in the ground. My soul REALLY needs to work with Earth Mother for a while. I am planning a small area on the back of the garage- with protection from the wind and heavy heat/sun to make myself a small oasis. In otherwords- an excuse to escape from the shop occasionally to do some watering in the evening. And pleasure of the bounty of the Earth to enjoy in our meals and cure-alls. A small fence will go up though- as the goats Love herbs- especially rosemary. I KNOW the sunshine, fresh air and escape will due me a world of good. Sometimes it is not a good thing to have the media constantly available...we cannot change a thing going on other than to offer our smoke(prayers) for those involved, including our Homeland people. So a break from the constant news reports will be welcome also. |
