It has been a long past couple of weeks- have gotten lots done after I Finally whipped the flu thing! Still get aggravated by the pollen- that will never end I’m sure. The lymphs have been working overtime and have had some good “sweats” going. AS long as I can keep purging my system that way, I feel all will be ok. In spite of miscellaneous twinges here and there. (oddly all are still on the left side, oh well!)
Our household has decreased by 1. Kanji’s wolf side let him leap a 5 foot fence(in front of the Doggie Cops) and his Akita side took him over to a neighbors and shake a chicken til dead, then drop it and head for another- the Animal Control ladies deterred him from finishing that one off. This happened last Friday while we were out for 4 hours doing shopping- etc.
Came home to 2 Animal Control trucks by our gate and the above story. We feel that if a critter starts killing livestock, he loses his niche in the food chain. It was hard to do- but had to let him be taken off- especially since it wasn’t for food- just for fun- the Akita vs the wolf.
Kasha was mopy the first couple of days, but has settled down to being Co-queen of the roost- sharing that title with Fuzz-bucket, the Cat. Fuzz very rarely ventured around Kanji as he would stalk her- but feels comfy now- and they share the attention and enjoy each other’s company.
Kasha is still a pup at 17 mos., in spite of her huge (well over 100 lbs.) size, so when a stranger comes to gate- even one she has met before- is not quite so sure how to handle it, besides bark; She won’t let them pet her...so it will all wash out ok, I quess.. She is Very protective of me, and is trying to help me type right now- better let her out- Again!
Family is doing well, and all are healing- Frank has been very careful about his diet lately and is losing a few pounds- it is hard and I am Very proud of him!!!
Am going to try to work on my “Book”- about family past, tonight- we’ll see how far I get.
Am getting way tired- but some things just add energy back into one! Whatever I get done now and in the future will at least be more fun for the future family to read than the normal Geneoloy reports.
I should be going soon for another mammo and follow ups- but I think I will pass for a while at least- have had enough X-rays to last me a LONG lifetime. And feel they contribute more harm than good anyway. Never had any , until last year- and am reverting back to my aversion to so many things invading my body. We’ll handle what ever comes up- by my first line of defense... Mother Earth, and all her wonderous gifts!
Spring has come and is Glorious in all it’s different aspects- 60’s one day- 40’s and snow the next. Have some seeds and bulbs to plant soon... This is a wonderful world- and it is Great to be alive!!!!
Thank you Spirits!
