6-21-01 Happy Summer Solstice All!!! It’s been in the high 90’s and even broke 100 yesterday. So everyone is really miserable from the heat and smoke. My heart goes out to those poor firefighters. Frank ordered the vet book from amazon- it should be here in a day or two. It just needs to come from Fernley. One of the valuable forms of healing , is meditation and visualisation. I haven’t found a visualisation I’ve been comfortable with for me. I don’t like the “soldiers / intruder” scenario- too violent I guess. Well, this morning while I was meditating I started to see little guys in yellow jumpsuits with shovels digging at a white yucky mountain/mass. And they would carry it over and throw it into this red river- after a little guy in a red suit(hazmat?) would spray it with this white sparkly stuff. I realized this was representing getting rid of the tumor and the sparkly stuff was the good stuff I’m taking ( keeping it from spreading). The river represented my lymphs! And it was flowing good and strong! My biopsy spot and lymphs don’t ache near so bad today. So maybe I finally subconsciously hit on the right one for me. We’ll see as time rolls on. Gotta get to work- have lots to do for Frank to deliver tomorrow. Business hasn’t been quite as brisk as last week- but that’s to be expected- especially this time of year. Am going to work for Burton’s tomorrow, 12-5. Am going to make Chioppino tonight to celebrate the Solstice. Will use up the oysters in the freezer left from Mother’s day! |
