7/4/01 Happy Birthday USA! Worked on Monday for Burton’s- am settling in and have a few things down pat now- have made a few mistakes- but hell- I would worry if I hadn’t! Nothing major that couldn’t be corrected. I really enjoy working there- and besides what I am learning- it gives a good break from the sewing machine. Have noticed I am waking on my own at a reasonable hour in the AM - rested and refreshed- it’s good to get a self-induced routine going- that doesn’t revolve around everyone else. Frank is still helping a lot around the house and helps more on my Burton Days! Besides the Window business and the pick-ups and deliveries for the tailoring. But we are both feeling good about all of this and falling into a comfortable routine. He is also keeping busy trouble shooting problems that arise( like some electrical problems due to a rare Thunderstorm yesterday) to building my shop and doing the webpage building he’s growing into a good business. Our working relationship that we started over 20 yrs ago is starting to blossom again- and it feels good! Dr. John and I tested me Monday with the Homeopathic research- There was definately an energy shift with one formula-, none with the other..so am using the 1st one. Can feel the difference - energywise and discomfort wise. For the Good! We both want this to be gone - or noticable smaller - in 4 months when I go for another mammo. Have hung out at home today- both of us doing stuff and making a BIG Vat of Dog food- set up the camp cookstove in the shed- cooler- and bought a LARGE canner enamel pot- so we could cook more at a time- this every 2-3 days was getting to be a pain. More for Frank in the clean-up than me in the cooking. But I could get some better beans and grains going this way. Found they like the pressure cooked kidney beans better than the canned. This time they got lentils, kidney beans, oatmeal, carrots, garlic, potatoes, broccoli, hamburger and vita-mix. They just chowed down and we’re about to bag up and freeze the rest in 1 day pkgs. We’ll see how long it’s going to last then. Frank is going to make “Doggie Cookies” tomorrow! At least they are ALOT healthier than 3 weeks ago! |
