It has been a busy past couple of weeks. Frank’s surgery came off without a hitch on the
19th- took a tad longer than they expected- but had him home by mid-afternoon. The VA
Hospital is SO nice. All the folks there really respect their patients- and all seem to get
Excellent care. I WAS impressed! He was rammy and tried to go with me to do windows
on Monday- but after he got home he admitted that wasn’t such a good idea. By Friday
he tried again as he was feeling much better. And this week has been going on his own.
Truthfully- I am glad he healed so fast- and he does rest in the afternoons- after all he Is
still healing. The Dr. basically released him this Tuesday.- just told him to listen to his
body- not lift too much and not rush into anything for a few more weeks.
It was a rough
almost 2 weeks on me- doing the windows in the AM , and errands , then coming home
to do my work. I was really beat. And the high heat we’ve been having didn’t help
matters either.
I don’t know- must be getting old- can remember just a couple of years
ago when I didn’t even bat an eye at a 10-12 hard work day :)!
