It has been a Hellacious work week. Thank goodness for Rosemary. She’s a tad older than me (and I’m older than dirt!), but she’s there and I’ve been working her a lot these past two weeks, even in between her water pipes frozen and her heater blew up. Bless her heart. We are friends and she’s a good soul and I am so glad she is my friend.
She got her water capped off and my guys will help her with a cut/off valve this spring. And the heater is functioning again. It’s tough when you are retired and on a Very limited income.
I am trying harder to add MORE vegs and Lots more protein into my diet. Tough work- but somebody’s gotta do it! ( sigh!!!!!).
I am beat, and am looking forward to Sunday to sleep in.
The burning down my arm is mostly gone, but it does ache and burn a lot under my arm and next to my boob., but considering how tired I am and the work and exercise I have put on that area of my body, to be expected I guess. Plus it’s all part of the healing process and I know it.
Just have to remember each night to concentrate on untangling those (cat’s claws) that are reaching out and send them back to their origins. Frank made one of our favorites, grilled ham & chesse with tomatoes on rye and potato soup, so now I’m settling down to take a shower and Reread an old favorite “Coyote Medicine,” by Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona. He is a Native American physician that has combined the conventional and his traditional. I loved it when I read it 3 yrs ago- so I borrowed it back from Chris to refresh my grey-matter.
Then I start on Heather’s Book. Plus have been tapping into Mickey’s and Pat’s books. Oh my poor sorry brain!
Oh and Kel- thanks for the snow angel!
