1-28-01 It’s been a long past few days. Jamie is sick -so more juggling of hours for all of us. We are all tired and fighting bugs too. I’m not in the best of moods- am angry and frustrated over this smoking thing. I know I’ll whip it soon, like the cancer, but am tired of having to deal with both of them. Sometimes I feel like “why bother?”. I know why, but it is taking alot of effort. Anyway, Frank edited and put my poem ”Sisters” on the Forum page. Hopefully it will get some other folks interested in adding their own efforts. Jason got a gig at The Eldorado, playing at the piano bar in Bistro Roxy’s. He’s So Good, I’m glad he is getting some recognition (and $) for all the years he has worked at it. Frank and I have added “Boca Burgers to our menu. They really are pretty good. Specially when you add a bit of Garlic powder and have them with grilled onions and cheese on rye! It has been snowy off and on this week, but other than a couple days- not too cold and windy. Good for Frank and his work. And not too bad for the drive in for me. The great cloud formations are making for beautiful sunrises! |
