Jan 27, 03 What a strange month! The weather has been in th 50’s here daytime- 20’s nights. But the poor EAST COAST has been having horribly cold and snowy weather- even in Fla. Cindy in Daytona was the same as us on Saturday- 59- and we went higher that day. The Gulf Stream and Jet Stream are definately off course this year! Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday and Our 22nd Anniversary! The same day this year! We met 22 years ago on S.B. Sunday- but this is the first time the date has been the same. We had some friends and family over and Lots of food- including the traditional Beans and hamhocks(from XMas Dinner) with jalepeno Corn Bread. Everyone seemed to have a good time and ate Lots- even though the Raiders didn’t win. Oh well, there’s always next year. It has been a steady flow of work to do- not as busy as Aug-Oct, but that’s ok- I have some wedding dresses to make for the 4 FlowerGirls- the patterns should arrive this week- then I can start the material search. Cindy and Becca tried in Fla. but without too much success- so I will hit the net as soon as I see what is wanted. Plus I have my regulars who need things done. I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas Massage that I cashed in this past Friday. Stephanie knew her job well and it was comfortable to be with her. Maza Salon here in Reno is Great! Just wish I could alternate weekly between her and Dr. Horton- would I be spoiled and laid back? Whhoo weeeee!!! TakoNee went to be neutered on the 15th, did fine- he was 55 lbs at 6 months. I guess we have another Big Boy coming on. I Still feel Roc in that little body. Just the way he gazes at me, stays by me and alot of his actions. Even if it isn’t Roc back again- it’s still comforting to have one like him. I feel strange things coming- mostly feel unsettling energies coming from Mother Earth- I haven’t quite figured if it’s a geological happening getting ready- or her discomforts at the conditions of the people residing on her. The politicians are going rampant with this War Idea- the economies of the world are going down- and meanwhile they are raising taxes everywhere- at local, state and federal levels- which is causing more unrest- especially since its the middle-lower classes feeling it. What changes-ecologically, economically and poltitically are in the offing? Everything combines to contribute to my general tiredness and unrest. I just can’t seem to get myself settled/centered for long these days. I don’t sleep that well and hope nothing else is raising it’s ugly head. And the dreams have been brutal. But time will tell on everything- reasons , causes and effects. Time has a tendancy to do that- if one is just patient enough! I Need a trip to Pyramid Lake - just to recharge my batteries a bit. Friends have had some new G-girls born this past month- that are coming into ALOT of love! Congrats Doc Honey-Bear and DEDE- both girls are gorgeous and have Such full heads of hair!!! |
