Patterns are on the way! I should be able to start putting ideas together by this weekend.
Searching the net and all. Stan (our friend and landlord) is having his knee replaced tomorrow. He’s a tough old bird so should do fine- but we will be checking on him anyway. Barb will also need some support though this. Today was Kayla day. A welcome break of sunshine in a work week. She throughly enjoyed her Pop-pop’s warm homemade bread when she got home from school. Then wanted more with dinner and a sandwich of that and Mom-mom’s turkey salad for school tomorrow! No Problem- and that saves Chris having to make someting in the AM for her lunch. He is working TOO many hours-plus college- and is back in uniform too soon from his surgery. But I am just an overly protective mom I quess- I ‘m sure he knows his limits and will only push himself that far. But he IS my son and .......enough said. Took Kayla home to Chris’ after dinner- she had fun in the tub- then we cuddled on the couch and watched cartoons until bedtime. This gives both Frank and I time alone with her- plus shared time. She talks to us each about different things. A good outlet for her on all aspects. She is such a love- as are Daria and Lea- we just don’t get to spend time with them - so far away. Sometimes life can be a bitch- and it makes me appreciate my youth with my Grandparents even more. Have a good weekend- we will- it’s Chris’ B-Day, and I hope to make fish things with a Thai treatment- (his favorite) if I can find all the ingredients. |
