Jan 15-02 It is late and been a long day- but had to add this before Frank puts this all up... I am a very luckywoman! I have a mate that cares and does his best to make it easier on me.. I have 3 kids and son-in-law , that love me , and want to spend time with me- GrandGirls who are marvelous..no fault of their parents or me& pop, and critters that love and want to protect me. Kanji has been more vocal these days when I get to hanging out/working in shop TOO late (Wolf/breeds tend to “talk” more than domestic dogs), but is typical in a pack for a Beta male to protect the alpha female. Then we have Kasha(15 mo. old) knowing I am the alpha female- and hanging out by me more each day- and Very protective. She is by my side whenever I go outside- and lays by my side at night (which in our small sleeping space is a trick for an over 100# plus critter. Kanji lays in the hall between us and the outside door, Protecting. They each have their assumed places. And then there is Fuzz-bucket in myshop- she would like to be friends with the “BIG” critters- but is working on that. Sometimes I leave the door open, like tonight, just to let them know that the scents are safe ones. But all three of these four-leggers are next to me as much as they can be. It is a comforting feeling, especially when they tell me it’s time to pack it in- like right now. Somehow they know when I push too much, because other times they don’t say a word. I know this sounds silly to most folks, but as you get to “BE” with your surroundings and then(or before) with the critters- it really adds an extra dimension to ones life. Have alwys been close to my 4-leggers- but this past few months have added an extra dimension I hope others have the chance to share and enjoy. Enough. Kanji is telling me to go get my bath and lets go to bed- And Kasha the same- he verbally she with her magnificent eyes. Good night Gracie. |
