Jan 06,02 It has been a busy past few days. The holidays were wonderful- but I have to get back to real life now! I have SO much work to get done for folks- and am trying to get ready for my little trip back east in 3 weeks! So much to think about!! Am getting some twinges in strange places- but no time to worry/think about them right now. Probably just age anyway- so why worry- and what does worry accomplish? nothing!!!! Our “boys” were out for supper tonight- a roast I cooked in my new BIG cast iron dutch oven- on the wood stove- I guess it was ok. They all thought it was- and some cuts of meat you HAVE to cook to death! Just to make them edible! And since I’m not a big meat eater- as long as they were filled... Our critters seem to be doing fine- FuzzBucket Cat just keeps growing( and filling her box)- and the two dogs are flourishing! Kanji seems to have hit his limit . and Kasha- Great Pyrenee that she is, is coming along nicely, another year before she finishes growing -at 14 mos. is over 100 lbs.- but for a “pound puppy” somebody threw away...even though she’ll only live 8-10 years, she is already a treasure! We worry about them- but it seems their “homegrown” food is doing them good. Their coats are shiny ,they have Lots of play energy and their eyes are TOO full of mischief!!! If everything goes right , we hope to add afew chickens in the spring- so Kayla can help us hunt for eggs . Oh the sparkle in her eyes when she has another critter to deal with ! mmmmmmmmmnb - FuzzBucket just climbed on the keyboard and added that! So with that- Good nite all- |
