12-24-00 Cindy called- they were on way out and wanted to know if we got their package yet. No, not yet , but with all the storms between Fla. and here, probably soon. They were looking forward to fun times with the family. SO good to hear from her!!! While I was sleeping Frank started on 2 additions to the page. THE FORUM, for all forms of art,written, visual and audio, that have come from association with our experienced tradegy. We are waiting for permission still, from T.T.Williams, but it IS holiday time and it WAS through Snail Mail. And SURVIVORS CIRCLE.. basically a "by request only" for ANYONE who wants to sign up. And then they can contact each other through the page either by E-Mail or Chatline type access. We set it up this way to weed out any weirdos (I have already gotten some nasty-grams through this site), plus to give these folks some privacy. Even though I am putting my life out like a slice of bread, there is no reason they should have to.Sometimes it's hard for folks to discuss this with someone who hasn’t a clue what it’s like and is just a “lookie-loo”. I doubt there will be many refusals, but since I’m admisitrator on the site, I can block anyone who harrases . Quite a bit to do today. Ran out for breakfast, and some last minute grocery shopping. Chris & Jay came for dinner for some of that Seafood Stew I made, with lots of bread to dip- What a meal. Got the coleslaw made for tomorrow, and the turkey stuffed- so Frank can get it in BBQ by 6:00AM. Then we’ll wrap it tight and boogy on over to Chris’. Frank and I opened our presents from other family members (the mailed ones!) tonight. Lots of goodies, thank you everyone! I just HAD to get into the Chocolate covered nuts PG sent, and am still awake at 10:00, when will I EVER learn...And I only ate 4. But yummy!!!! Merry Christmas to All... And soon I hope ... a good night! |
