12-23-00 Great Morning! Got to sleep all the way to 7:50!! Am I lucky or what! Frank drove me in, as he will pick me up and we’ll scoot to Julie’s for “Stanton” party at her house. Jamie came in- caught on quickly, but it was REALLY dead- so after I caught up in “MUST HAVE” for today alterations- let her go home at 12:00. Got slammed at 1:30 through after 2:00, So even though we were due at Julie’s we didn’t get out of the store until 2:30. Oh well, folks loose track of time and they Need their clothes. Both Chris and Jason met us a Julie’s and she had a great buffet set out. Plus lots of goodies. That’s our Julie!! She also had gifts for us all, and a Very Special Mug- from Avon- with the B.C. ribbon and roses on it. It immediately got assigned the role of “potions” mug. So every AM & pm, I will have her thoughts helping me. She is So thoughtful. They appreciated what little we had brought for them, and Ryan really went crazy over his artist set we had found for him. We saw some his work, and he’s Damn good for a 13 yr. old. Julie found the cutest, softest bear for Kayla, I know she’s going to love it. Came home around 5 and basically crashed. Been a long 6 days week. But a good one. It has been wonderfully balmy for the end of December- high 40’s- 50’s daytime and usually sunny. The mid-west and back East are paying hell, but it is gorgeous here - the Skiers will be going crazy on the slopes! |
