The heat has been back since right after my last entry. I guess we’re getting used to it. It
has just been a longer higher, heat summer than normal. We have been breaking records
all over the place. And it doesn’t do much good to complain- ain’t gonna change
anything.
Have figured out to squirt the goaties with the hose when they get near my pitiful garden.
They learn fast- now all I have to do is walk toward it and they scatter. We let them out
in the eve before we feed, for about an hour, and they are a riot to watch. Between them
and the Hummers fighting over the feeders- we get plenty of entertainment and laughter-
which is the world’s best medicine.
Am staying pretty even in the cancer dept. I quess . Occasionally I wonder if it’s in other
parts of me- but no sense to dwell on that. My lymphs swell occasionally- so I up my
echinecea and Red Clover , other than that , I am doing maintenace portions of my vitas
for now. Energy level isn’t quite what it should be , but that could be the heat too. And I
am sure it doesn’t help that I don’t eat as much as I should- but food really doesn’t
interest me that much. Some days I REALLY crave certain things- and will cook like
crazy- but as a general rule- I could care less. Oh well- at least I don’t have an
overweight problem any more. If it weren’t for Frank being here- I would probaly skip
lots more meals than I do.
