It has been a busy couple of weeks- I am sorry. 2 weeks ago Frank came down with a flu
on Thursday night- really threw him for a loop. He never gets sick like that, must be his
resistance was down from the operation. So I did the Cleaners run and his windows. Not
too bad.
Then I did Costco. He was better over the weekend- actually Saturday- I really
felt bad for him.
The heat was damned near unbearable in the 100’s to 111, for several days running. My
shop was running in 90’s almost all day and into eve for a few weeks, even with all the
fans running. And the trailer-bedroom was horrendous until the wee hours of the
morning. I don’t handle the heat well, and it was tough getting my work done.
Then
Frank came home a week ago Fri. with a portable swamp cooler. It REALLY made a
difference- as long as I remember to put water in the tank- a few times a day.
Then a couple days later - we had a weather change and it’s been real comfy this past
week and half. 80’s days- 40-50’s nights- a nice fall reminder- and the hummers seem to
be tanking up for an early migration! But it has been in the 90’s this past couple of days
to be in 100’s again by Sunday and all next week. We’ll see how it goes
