It has been a very busy week- on all aspects. Frank got the hot water heater for the tub switched out for a larger one- and the smaller one will go under the new sink to come soon, for doing dishes. It sure has been pleasant and luxurious to be able to run a tub in one sitting without having to wait forever for it to reheat enough (3 times ) to fill the tub.
Franks’s cholesterol count is out of whack(saw the Dr. at VA again this week), but refused their drugs. Went down to J. Burton and got on some other herbs to help equalize it. But the tests were taken about a month ago- before he started on Flor-esssense and watching his diet better. His weight is down a bit- and now is facing the hernia operation. He will see the Dr. again about his blood cholesterol and weight in 3 months- I just know it will be Much better!
The weather got real cold after last entry- for a few days- but has been in 60-70’s this week. Due to chill off to low 60’s this weekend. Ah, Spring in Nev.!!! I love it! But everything is growing and green and the birdies are chirping and our 2 girl critters seem happy enough!
Went back to making Kasha’s food- she just doesn’t seem to care for kibbles- no matter the brand, or in this case how pure or expensive. And it really isn’t much of a bother. For now we are mixing it with the kibbles left. And truthfully- no matter what the bag says- I just don’t trust commercial stuff! And she seems much happier and contented now.
Other than this being a heavy allergy season, I feel pretty good. I just make sure to stay on my potions, and try to get enough rest.(sometimes more than some folks think I need, I’m sure!) But also during those “down” times in the AM, I am meditating and healing with Reiki- so not all is lost. And there are only a day or so a week I can splurge on that anyway! There is usually too much to do, to hang out doing that too long.
I truly think the massaging of by breast and keeping the lymphs flowing is one of the biggest things- and therefore not blocking the lymphs with underwire bras.
Chris caught some Fresh “nice” trout this week- so we will have them with him and Kayla this weekend. Don’t know yet how the trip to Maine is going...We don’t have the extra $- we have to get this started kitchen finished before Frank goes to hospital- as he will be down for several weeks on physical stuff. We’ll see.
