April 25 The Biopsy came back Benign!!! Glorious news!! John was so Happy! He had told me about 6 mons. to turn this around, AND WE DID! Neither one of us doubted it was there before, and most folks around me- because of all the other physical manifestations I had. Frank is estatic!!! And So is the family. Because of the type of mass(tumor) that it is I Still have to stay on treatments and have another mammo- maybe the next time it will have shrunk??!! We’ll see. I am sore, but not too badly bruised and am so amped I am going to make some miso soup with shrimp and tofu, and some shrimp eggrolls. I’m getting really good at them, and with adding more tofu and soy products we are both feeling better. Weight is even easing down a tad for both of us. I added eating a tbs. of kelp every day or so to my diet- want to help the thyroid out a bit more. This should also help me to quit smoking a little easier- because if a thyroid is sluggish- we tend to smoke to kick the energy up. So we’ll Really be eating Good!!! |
